Torn between love and pride, like a Shakespearian character, the protagonist, a successful politician, realizes that selfishness is making one lonely and joy is fulfilling only when shared. The man gives up his dignity for the sake of his lover, and this action is symmetrically followed by the woman's similar and desperate gesture. A sensual and moving show, a modern play interpreted by a histrionic couple touched by grace.
