It is a Romanian classical comedy, with a mixture of satire, idealism and gravity, where the hero, a modest archivist, is consumed by a passion for horses and out of them for the most miserable nag. Truly believing in your dream, shouts one of G. Ciprian's characters, like a last century Don Quijote.

Nowadays, in a world that doesn't believe in miracles anymore, but really needs them, G. Ciprian's hero is the symbol of the humiliated mankind but still victorious due to the exemplary faith. His nag continues to surprise us, being as lively as it was at the premiere from 1927.
