The Italian playwright Manlio Santanelli brings to the stage two characters - Regina, a despotic and possessive mother, and her son, Alfredo, a failed, neurotic journalist. Returning home under the pretext of wanting to take care of his ailing mother, Alfredo conceals his cynical intention of saving his career by writing a sensational feature, reporting in detail the last days and the death of the old lady. But life is always full of surprises and the end is never what you expect.

Caught in a captivating and alert dialogue about love, selfishness, moral conduct - friends and foes - a mother and her son. The show gives us the chance to spend a night at the court of a Romanian Queen of the stage: Olga Tudorache.
